On… Cup Of Jo Beauty Uniform 17 Replies As you guys may know, my lovely friend and kindred spirit Joanna is the uber-blogger behind CupOfJo. She asked me to write a post for her Beauty Uniform series. I was like FOR SUREBIES JOGO. (Well, no, I wasn’t really, I was like ‘Really? Me? Are you sure? You know it’s going to be REALLY STUPIDLY LONG if I write it, right? Like your readers will probably get bored and thirsty and leave. And all my photos have the babies in, literally all of them, it’s tragic, is that okay?’ and so on.) If you’re in the mood, you can read it here. PS Edit: Joanna tells me everyone is obsessed with these sunglasses! They’re Sabre Runaways, and I LOVE them. Go forth and purchase, my friends.

Joyce Novacek June 3, 2015 at 9:27 am I really enjoyed your Beauty Uniform! And thanks for the writing advice. I’m definitely finding that “writing is rewriting” as I work on completing my first manuscript! I’m attempting New Adult myself I plan on scooping up the “Brooklyn girls” series immediately. Would love to hear any other writing advice you have! Especially lessons learned along the way. Reply ↓
GemmaBurgess Post authorJune 8, 2015 at 12:20 pm Thank you so much – I’m so happy you enjoyed it! Yes ‘writing is rewriting’ is the most annoying-but-true adage ever. (Is it an adage? Am I using that correctly? Let’s just hope for the best.) Good luck with your NA book and I hope you enjoy Brooklyn Girls! Reply ↓
